Dessert with the Roushs

For every year of his tenure, President John Roush and his wife, Susie, have invited the graduating senior class into their home for a dessert reception. This unique Centre tradition embodies the personal education promised by the College and gives students a chance to share their wisdom before they depart from campus.

While enjoying Mrs. Roush’s homemade dessert, the President asks seniors two questions:

  1. What one thing about Centre would you never change?
  2. What one thing about Centre would you change tomorrow?

What follows is always an enlightening and interesting discussion about the good and bad elements of the Centre Experience and a wave of suggestions for improving things. Discussions at these events have been known to spark tangible changes that have enhanced campus for future students.

As a member of the Class of 2012, you are invited to attend one of the Dessert with the Roushes events this year on one of the following dates:

    Thursday, March 1st 7.00pm
    Friday, March 2nd 7.00pm
