Current Development Projects

These are some of the projects we are working on currently in the Office of Development. Special projects usually come about after an expressed interest from a base of donors. Some projects are funded entirely by a small group of individuals, while others have more broad support. Once principle gifts have been secured to give a project its foundation, the Office of Development may solicit a wider audience for additional support. If you would like more information about a specific project, please contact Shawn Lyons.

Young Hall Beech Tree Sculpture Fund

Although not honoring a person, the beech tree that stood in front of Young Hall for decades succumbed to age, stress and weather conditions this summer, and a part of the trunk is being turned into a sculpture. Faculty and staff have taken the lead in making gifts to commission the sculpture.
